The Ultimate Tarot Card For Luck And Success

You’re about to embark on a new endeavor. You wish the tarot spread will indicate good luck and prosperity. But which Tarot card is the “luckiest” one? I mean, there is no card with a four-leaf clover in the deck. Or is there?

The Sun is the Tarot card that represents good luck and success. The Sun doesn’t have a shadow side, even turned upside down, it means success. As a Major Arcana card, it has life-changing effects. Other fantastic cards for good luck and success are The Star and The Wheel of Fortune.

All cards in the deck might be “good luck” cards depending on your question. But, as good luck often is related to questions about wealth or love, my best bet is that the luckiest card of them all is either from the Cups suit (love and emotions) or the Pentacles (earthly riches and wealth). Let’s dig deeper to find out which card is the luckiest of them. I asked peers for some insights as well; let’s nail this once and for all.

THE SUN IS THE BEST TAROT CARD FOR GOOD LUCK

THE SUN IS THE BEST TAROT CARD FOR GOOD LUCK

It’s tricky to find out what card is the “luckiest” of them all, like the four-clover of the Tarot. Depending on the question, this might vary. But, there is one card that stands out from the crowd – the Sun.

The Sun is a card that means positivity, great energy, and success – regardless if it’s turned upright or reversed. Most Tarot cards have a shadow side that neutralizes the significance of the upright meaning – but not the Sun. It is just a little less “success.”

The Sun is also a Major Arcana card, which means that it’s connected to major life events and has a more significant “impact” than a Minor Arcana card. Minor Arcana cards target everyday life experiences. The Minor Arcana is also dividing our experiences into compartments, the Suits. The Pentacle rules the Earthly wealth, the Wands the passion, the Cups love and emotions, and Swords truth and rationality.

Good luck is often something we strive for love and earthly wealth; the Sun will encompass them all. Look at the motif in the card; it says it all.

As all Tarot readers have slightly different opinions about card meanings, I decided to poll one large Facebook group and a Tarot Reddit sub. 78 tarot readers answered the poll in total. I combined the results from the two polls into one table. Show 10122550100 entriesSearch:

Even if there is no four-leaf clover card in the Tarot, this is as close as you can come. This is how you will feel if your wish or dream comes true. That’s why the Sun is such a great representative of good luck.

When you look at the final score of the polls, the Sun outranks all other cards. This is an excellent indication that the Sun is the top Tarot card for good luck and success.

This is the poll from the Facebook group. Note that the numbers from the Reddit poll are not featured here. I think it is great to see the “visual” graph of the Facebook group, though. You can see how the Sun outperforms the other cards.

The Tarot readers were able to add their favorite as well if not included in the initial poll.

    DIFFERENT OPINIONS: CAUSES AND EXPLANATION

How come there are different opinions on what card means good luck? The thing is, with experience, Tarot readers will add unique layers of information to the card meanings.

The “magic spice” added to the meaning is intuition. As all readers are unique individuals, their intuitive understanding of the cards will differ slightly. This is why, for example, reference books many times have different explanations about the card meanings.

THE BEST TAROT CARD FOR LUCK IN LOVE

Nothing brings more happy vibes than the Ten of Cups. A rainbow of love and emotion, that’s what we all hope and wish in our hearts! Let’s take a closer look at this super-charged good luck charm card.

THE BEST TAROT CARD FOR LUCK IN LOVE

Even though the Sun represents significant life events, it might be interesting to know what card predicts luck more specifically for love.

In the Tarot, love is represented in the suit of Cups. In the poll, the ten of Cups was a favorite, and I agree. The ten of Cups represent divine love, fulfillment, and bliss. Just look at the card itself. If you wish luck in love, I guess this is just what you want; A healthy and loving family unit, with or without kids.

The ten of Cups is a Minor Arcana card, which means that it represents an everyday life experience. This means that it’s temporary. But as love and relationships are, they are never static. But getting a ten of Cups in your reading is worth celebrating! Good times ahead!

THE BEST TAROT CARD FOR GOOD LUCK FOR WEALTH AND BUSINESS

As the Sun encompasses all situations in life, there might be great to know what cards target good luck and success in business, career, prosperity, and abundance as well? As the Suit of Pentacles represents tangible wealth, let’s take a look at what the suit has to offer.

    ACE OF PENTACLES

Look at this divine opportunity; a hand is reaching out with a golden coin – just for us to grab. The lush garden and the gate indicate that we have a profitable way ahead – if we seize the chance we are given. The Ace of Pentacles is the perfect good luck charm in business, career, and prosperity.

    ACE OF PENTACLES

What Tarot card represents good luck in business or tangible wealth? In the poll, Ace of Pentacles was the favorite. I tend to agree on this as well.

The Ace of Pentacles indicates a new opportunity, and often when we wish for good luck in business, it is for something new to happen. A new job position, business partner, contract, deal… the list goes on.

    NINE OF PENTACLES

Another card that indicates good luck in business is the nine of pentacles. This card represents financial independence and abundance. We all want that lush garden! When you get this card in your spread you know you are on the right path; luck is on your side!

    NINE OF PENTACLES

In numerology, the number nine stands for near completion. With the boost of good luck, you will soon reach your goals and dreams. That’s why I think this card is such a token for luck.

The card’s meaning is super-charged with positive vibes but has a shadow side attached to its reversed meaning (when turned on its head). Often it indicates that you work too hard and don’t allow yourself to enjoy the wealth you created.

OTHER GREAT TAROT CARDS THAT INDICATE GOOD LUCK AND SUCCESS

Even though the Sun is the ultimate tarot card for good luck, other cards indicate success as well.

As all cards can answer a question that will indicate good luck in a specific situation, limiting the property of luck only to the Sun is hard.

For example, if you are going through a terrible break-up, the dreaded ten of swords might turn up as a sign of luck. The phase is finally over, and a new dawn is here.

    WHEEL OF FORTUNE

The Wheel of Fortune is a Major Arcana card that might indicate the luck is turning. At first glance, you might think this is the apparent card for good luck. But, the Wheel of Fortune can turn the other way as well. It might as well indicate your luck is turning and challenges are coming.

    THE STAR

Another tarot card that often indicates good luck or success is the Star. The Star shows you will regain your hope and that a period of calmness and bliss is coming.

The Star is a profoundly spiritual card and indicates things are about to go your way. The Star has a shadow side, though. Turned on its head, it represents a lack of faith, despair, and disconnection.

The Sun trumps it as it has no shadow side. When you get the Sun, you know you are about to experience an excellent phase of your life.

    THE STAR

We have talked a lot about luck when it comes to matters of the heart and in business. Let’s take a look at good luck when it comes to projects or hobbies as well. This section of life is included in the Suits of Wands. The Wands is all about passion, dreams, ambition, and “inner fire.”

Maybe you want to turn your hobby into your business or life path? Then you might benefit from knowing what card indicates success is coming.

    SIX OF WANDS

The Six of Wands is all about celebrating a big win or achievement. This is what we all wish for, and that’s why this card is such a good luck charm. Take a look at the card; it’s filled to the rim of symbols of success. The wreath, the victorious position of the rider, pomp, and circumstance, everything breaths victory and win.

When this card is turning up in your spread, you can be sure you have luck on your side. It has a shadow side, though, if turned on its head. It might indicate a fall from grace of some sort.

Maybe you want to turn your hobby into your business or life path? Then you might benefit from knowing what card indicates success is coming.

    ACE OF SWORDS

If you are challenged, you might wish for the truth to come out and be made public. Then we need to turn to the Suit of Swords for “help.” The Suit of Swords is all about truth and communication.

    ACE OF SWORDS

Like all Aces, it represents something new, an opportunity. This might be your big break, your chance to get the truth out there. In this instance, the Ace of Swords is an excellent indicator that your luck is turning.

Let the world know that you have a genuine heart and intentions. Let the ones challenge you to fall on the “sword.”

In its reversal, though, the card has a shadow side. If the card shows up on its head, your judgment may be muddied. Maybe you are not as “right” as you initially thought.

As always, the Sun is the only card with a positive reversal meaning. But the Ace of Swords might be a great one, too, if received upright.

    IN SUMMARY

The Sun is a beautiful card that predicts bliss, joy, and success. Everything you ever want, and something we all wish for. When you get the Sun in your reading, you know good times are coming. Not only temporary but long-lasting.

No one can ride the high of the Sun forever, though, so enjoy every second of it while it lasts. It is like the truth of the Wheel of Fortune. Our luck turns; it’s a part of life. We would not cherish the Sun if we never experienced, for example, the dreaded Seven of Swords.

The Tarot is a book of life. All cards have their importance and place. No card is better or worse than another. They are life; sometimes it’s good and sometimes not.

As you get more experienced reading the cards, you will discover good luck in almost every card. In some way.

Sometimes we don’t know what is best for us. We wish for things that will not lead to happiness in the end. Disappointment might be the best gift at times.

But, whenever the Sun turns up. Remember to smile and embrace life. Good luck and happiness are just around the corner.
